This is a collection of 3 3/4 inch figures depicting village life in Afghanistan. The collection features a man, Hassan, a woman, Ariana, and a Rickshaw, facilitating cultural education and storytelling for children. The packaging is a bubble on card in the style of retro action figures, and plastic-free a window box in accordance with recent industry trends.
Multicultural action figures have come into relevance in recent years but there is a gap for Afghan action figures. In my research, I was only able to find figures catered to military displays. I want to bring a new perspective to the image of Afghanistan by creating a product aimed towards children that will teach average Afghan villager life.
